About Healing Prayer
Prayer works! It’s as simple as that. The old and new testaments have countless references of God healing His people when believers come together to pray. Psalm 103: 1-6 states:
“Praise the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits-
Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,
Who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagles.
The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.”
About Us
The Missio Lux Community of Healing Prayer consists of members who have been called by God to this ministry of healing and have gone through an extensive year-long training in order to serve. In addition to the first year of training, each member commits to ongoing training on a weekly basis. Members of our current community have been serving from two to four years.
This community exists because we long to see people healed and free from life’s hurts, whether emotional, physical, relational or spiritual. We believe God transforms lives through faith-filled prayer and that is why we serve on prayer teams at our monthly Healing Prayer Service as well as through prayer by appointment throughout the week.
Healing Prayer Services
If you or someone you know is struggling with difficult life circumstances, facing illness, or battling past or present emotional, financial or spiritual hurts, we would be privileged to pray with you at our monthly Healing Prayer Services. We believe the difficulties of life were not meant to be shouldered alone. God promises to meet us when we come to Him and lay our burdens before Him (Matthew 11:28-29). The Healing Prayer Service offers a personal and intimate encounter with God through worship that includes reading of scripture and singing before receiving prayer at a private prayer station.

Healing Prayer Services are held every month on the 4th Tuesday of the month from 7:00 - 8:30 at Pine Lake Covenant Church, 1715 228th Ave SE Sammamish, WA 98075
