Our common passion is to help people be prepared
We gather twice a month, share a meal, and talk about what we can do to meet the needs of our community.
One area we are focusing on is how to raise awareness about being prepared for a natural disaster.
We currently offer train the trainer sessions, Map Your Neighborhood, to people to be prepared in the event of a disaster. This provides all the tools needed for particiapnts to facilitate a Map Your Neighborhood meeting with neighbors, organizations, and businesses.
Map Your Neighborhood is a program offered by Washington State Emergency Management
designed to prepare neighborhoods to care for each other when disaster strikes.
